Privacy
KYD exists to make a dev's record public. Some of what you give it is public on purpose; the rest is kept private and protected.
Public, on purpose
- Your X handle, name, profile picture, account age, and every handle KYD has seen on your X account.
- Your dev wallet and the date you verified.
- Every coin your wallet has made, on KYD or anywhere else.
Private
- Your X access tokens. KYD needs them to post your launch tweet and to see handle changes. They are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used for nothing else.
- Your sign-in signature and sessions. Used to prove the wallet is yours; never shown.
Never stored
- Your private keys. Your wallet signs every transaction itself.
- Your email, your DMs, your followers or anything else in your X account.
Revoke X access
You can remove KYD from your X account at any time in X's settings under Connected apps. KYD then stops posting for you. Your bind and your record stay; they are the point of KYD.
