Verify
You verify once. After that your X account and your wallet are tied together for good, and every launch from that wallet goes on your record.
The four steps
- Connect your wallet and sign a short message. It proves the wallet is yours. It is not a transaction and costs nothing.
- Log in with X. KYD reads your account's permanent user ID, its age and its handle. You also allow KYD to post your launch tweet, which only happens when you leave that switch on.
- Checks. KYD checks the rules below.
- Bind. You confirm, and the X account and the wallet are tied for good.
The rules
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Your X account is at least 30 days old | Fresh accounts are as cheap as fresh wallets |
| One X, one wallet, for good | To launch from another wallet you need another X account that passes every check |
| A wallet binds to one X only | Nobody can lend their wallet to a second account |
| One launch every 24 hours, counted from your last launch | Farmers launch dozens a day; a real project needs one |
| After a handle change, launching is locked for 3 days | A new name never washes a record; the profile shows every handle you have used |
KYD tracks your X account by its permanent user ID, not by your @. Changing your handle changes nothing on your record. Old handles found in public archives show on your profile too.
If you lose your wallet
There is no unlinking and no moving to a new wallet. A lost or hacked wallet means verifying again with another X account. This is on purpose: if a dev could swap wallets, a rug could be followed by a "lost my keys" and a clean start.
